Principal's Message…

Dear Bobcat Families,

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Bernardo Heights Middle School.  My passion for education and supporting student success brought me to this position and I welcome the opportunity to serve the Bernardo Heights community. Our goal here at BHMS is to create a safe and supportive environment where each and every Bobcat feels like safe, supported, seen and heard.

This is my seventh year supporting our Bobcats.  Before coming to BHMS, I was an Assistant Principal at Del Norte High School for 6 years.  Prior to my service as a site administrator, I was a classroom teacher for eleven years, teaching 7th grade Humanities and then English, World History and Art History at the high school level.   

Bernardo Heights has a history of excellence and I enjoy partnering with the staff, students, and families to continue in this tradition. Working together, we will continue to provide our students outstanding educational opportunities so that they will achieve their highest potential.

On a personal note, I am the parent of a middle schooler and a high schooler here in PUSD.  Parenting is truly a humbling experience and I plan to partner with you to support you and your students through this amazing journey we are on.
